I spend a lot of time on here complaining about the utter failure of legacy media, but recently we met a young man who is restoring my faith that my old profession might have a chance. His name is Mocha Bezirgan, a young man from Turkey who came here hoping to experience freedom of speech. He found the opposite. So, with great courage and stamina he became an independent journalist. He is the ONLY credentialed reporter sitting in an Alberta court for the trial of the Coutts Four and it is a 2-hour drive each way.
