EPISODE 194: CANADA’S POLITICAL PRISONERS - THE COUTTS FOUR

 

They are considered by some to be Canada’s political prisoners — the four men who’ve been held for over 600 days while awaiting trial in Alberta. No one can figure out why these four are being denied their fundamental rights — as defendants in the case involving the Coutts trucker protest. The charges were laid just before the prime minister lowered the boom with the Emergencies Act and were announced and framed in an incendiary way.
